Starting a Online Business - Without a Web Site.

By Cecil Heim

Starting a online business is in fact very easy. Anybody with basic computer skills can start a web business. In this article we will have a closer look at one of the options available and the steps you will take when starting a online business.

The main means to earn money on the internet is by selling something. You can either sell your own product if you have one, or someone else's product for a commission.

If you are in the beginning stages of starting a online business. You most likely do not have a product of your own. So I am going to get you started by selling other peoples products.

You need a product to sell. As ClickBank has the widest selection of products. This would be a good place to start, by opening a free account. When the account is set up you will receive a few directional emails. Read them, as well as the "getting started" section on the ClickBank Site. This will give you an idea of how the system works.

The next step is to open an account with Google Adwords. Without Adwords you will not be able to get anywhere so the minimal setup costs are well worth it. You will need this account to advertise the products your are selling as well as do Keyword Research.

When you are notified that your account has been set up. It is important that you read up to find out how the Adwords system works. Google has lots of information on the subject. In simple terms. Your advertisement will be based on certain keywords. You will place a bid on the keywords that you will use to sell your product. But, the more popular the keyword, the higher the bid.

Now let's find a product to sell. I recommend that for starters you find a product on a subject you know something about. Go to the market place in you ClickBank account and do a search on the subject of your choice. Have a look at the commissions paid as well as the conversion factors. I would not go for anything that pays less the $20. Make a list of about 5 to 10 possibilities.

Now we are going to do some research to find out if the product can be profitable. For this purpose we will be using the Adwords keyword tool. Enter the exact full name of the product you have chosen in the tool and let google find keywords.

Have a look at how many searches there are for your keyword or product. If there are less than 3000 searches per month, you may want to try another product. Now have a look at the competition and minimum estimated bid. The more the competition the higher the bid.

If someone is searching for say "How to Cook Beef" and this is the title of your product. It would safe to say that someone doing that search wants to know how to cook beef. Therefore, it would be reasonable to expect that for every 100 clicks on your ad at least one sale will be made. Working on a 100% profit margin. At a minimum bid of .10c you would break even with the one sale. All additional sales out the 100 clicks would be pure profit.

What I have explained above does not sound as if you will make a lot of money. But do the above with 20 or 30 different products at $300 plus profit per product per month. Not too bad as a pastime.

Now let's take it one step further. Look at the other keywords suggested. What you are looking for is 5 or 6 other keywords that are closely linked to the product you are selling. These keywords you analyze on the same principals as explained above. Bear in mind though, you do not need 1000's of keywords. A few well chosen keywords will do the job.

Once this is all done. You can now write the ad. If your product is "How to cook Beef". That would be the title of the ad. For the body of the ad. You could have a look at some of the ads that come up with your search term. Select the best one, but change it a bit to make it yours.

That is all there is to it. Run your ad. Let me warn you though. You need to continually monitor your sales expenses against income made. If you do not do this. The Adwords game can become a very expensive exercise. But if you continually check which keywords and ads are making money and which are not. You should not have any problems when starting a internet business.

How To Find Hot Products

By Jesse Holmes

At this point in time, you should be mostly sold out of selling the odds and ends that were laying around your house. If you know how to use the completed item research tool, you will need to solely rely on it when going out and hunting for deals.

Now is the time to go to the mall, outlet malls and storefronts on an inventory hunt. The ideal situation at this point is to find inventory from a store that is having a clearance sale. Stores that are already discount orientated such as outlet malls, TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack are the perfect stores to visit when sales are taking place. Take a pen and paper and as you spot deals, write them down. Take quick snapshots if you have a camera phone. At this point, you are just seeing what's out there. Already having a good idea of eBay Pulse will give you a good idea what to start looking for in the store.

Make a list of these deals you found when you get home. Do some completed item research on eBay with each item on your list. You will be able to see which items are selling and how much they are going for. After figuring out which items are going to make you some good profits (after listing fees), you can go back to the stores and pick them up.

Buy multiples of the profitable items if possible. Selling multiples of an item you only have to list once makes you more money and saves you time.

Thinking this is all just a waste of time and there is no profit to be found? We used this exact same strategy and bought a pair of jeans for $9 at a Marshalls and sold them for $100 on eBay.

Once you get the hang of it, you really get to see what you can sell on eBay for a profit. Start making relationships with the store managers and clear out old inventory for them. Usually they are more than happy for you to move their old stock for them if they still sell well on eBay.

There's No Business Like A Home-Based Business

By Cathy Howard

Dreaming of a home-based business? You're not alone. Millions of people dream of having their own business - having no boss, doing their thing and earning unlimited income. But not everyone succeeds in making this dream a reality.

Whatever your goals were, have you managed to achieve them? Do you wake up each morning with the knowledge that you're doing something that you enjoy, and by extension, something at which you excel?

When in doubt about your goals, ask yourself: What do you like doing most? Which of your interests has the potential for unlimited income?

Now think about the answers to these questions. What if you could take some of the other duties, the ones you find most tedious, off of your plate? Imagine being able to use the time saved to concentrate on those aspects of your business that generate the most profit or that you enjoy the most.

Until recently, it was not economically feasible for most home-based business owners to delegate many of these undesirable tasks to additional employees. But with Internet-based technology that is available today, it's no longer necessary to hire staff. There are many duties that can be outsourced to provide one with extra time that can be used on more desirable obligations.

Outsourcing is common nowadays so there's no point in doing all the work yourself. The good news is you don't have to spend a fortune to find good help. You can pay those who assist you on per project, per hour or on a monthly basis if ore work is involved.

The Best Surf Spots in Australia

By Damian Papworth

Surfers of all nationalities all know that there are few countries in the world with surfing conditions quite as good as Australia's, making the country a mecca for surfers worldwide. There are simply magnificent surf spots to be found all along the endless Australian coastline, with the beaches Down Under representing the very best that the world's oceans have for us to enjoy. Beyond certain stretches of coast that are not suited to surfing because of natural formations (bays, harbors and so on) it is hard to find a single spot of beach that doesn't entice surfers with excellent surf breaks...meaning that a trip to pretty much any part of coastal Australia will be worth a surfer's while.

Surfers generally tend to avoid the northernmost part of Australia, simply because the waters here are full of the kinds of jellyfish that could turn a surfer's vacation into a very different, less enjoyable experience, as well as the fact that these shallow tropical waters don't offer the same sorts of waves to be found elsewhere.

In a country of this size, the other tracts of coastline are more than ample grounds (or waters) in which to seek out a good ride. Australia has many thousands of miles of beautiful beaches with some exceptional beach as well as reef breaks all along the way. Whether you're in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean off Australia's western coast or in the chilly waters off the southern end of the continent or the heavily frequented waters of the eastern shores, surfers will feel like their dreams have come true in any of these places.

Western Australia surely boasts some of the most exceptional surf spots, and the fact that the water gets nice and warm and the air even warmer makes it all that much more inviting. The Indian Ocean is at its best here, and perfect 6 feet tubes are a dime a dozen here. Surfers are advised to get to know such coastal destinations as Esperance, Albany or Margaret River (where the river opens into the sea, of course), all of which are famous for their ability to attract boarders from all over the planet.

South Australia offers surfers chillier waters, but hardly any other sacrifice! The surf conditions here are ideal despite the frigidness of the ocean, and the cold currents flowing northwards from Antarctica provide truly spectacular swells that are the stuff of surfing legends. The terrain is pretty rugged which makes accessing many beaches a bit of a challenge, but if you happen to be lucky enough to have a local guide and/or a 4WD vehicle you can surmount any obstacle just about. In this part of the country, surfers should definitely get to know spots like Yorke Peninsula and Eyre Peninsula, designated by local surfers and those that flock from the capital of Adelaide as being nothing short of the best.

Moving farther east, Victoria has a long and gorgeous coastline that has many of the same natural characteristics as South Australia, especially the chilly waters, making wet suits a wise idea in both cases. Despite the chilliness of the sea, surf conditions are once again optimal in this area, and again it is crucial to be able to count on the knowledge of a local to help guide you to the best destinations. Stay alert for such surf destinations as Phillip Island, Bells Beach and Torquay, clear favorites among local surfers. To get the most out of Victoria's coastline, simply travel along the Great Ocean Road which covers over 100 miles of shore.

Getting back into warmer waters, New South Wales has an expansive coastline with such popular surf areas as those in and around Sydney as well as spots farther afield, such as Angourie, Lennox, and Byron Bay.

Even more to the north, in Queensland surfers can enjoy such beautiful places as the Gold Coast, where surfing culture has taken root unlike anywhere else on the planet practically. Beach names like Surfers Paradise bear testament to the local obsession with the sport. Then, in northern Queensland, surfers can check out the natural phenomenon that is the Great Barrier Reed, one of the most spectacular natural formations in the world.

At last, there are the surf spots of Tasmania to be reckoned with, yet only for the brave of heart that is! Again in pretty chilly waters, many areas are inaccessible but if you do manage to get around, try going to the eastern end of the island for the best surf breaks.
