PASSPORT TO WEALTH - THE REVIEW

By David Lengacher

Home based businesses have been growing rapidly nowadays. There are a lot of companies that offer chances to do this kind of business. Passport to Wealth is one of them. Passport to Wealth offers an opportunity to do your own home based business by selling and marketing their products using the direct selling technique. Passport to Wealth's main product lines are software titles and also e-books on how to success in the Internet marketing business.

When you decide to join Passport to Wealth, first you are required to pay $997 to cover the registration fee. The amount entitles to you to several software titles and e-books so you can learn to be successful in the business and come up with the best strategy to earn bigger profits. You also become an official member of Passport to Wealth.

Passport to Wealth uses a two-up compensation program for its members. It means that you are required to pass up your first two sales to your sponsor, or the person who referred you to join the program. However, after you pass up your second sale, you are no longer bound to your sponsor and are free to compete with him.

When you join the Passport to Wealth program, you have to spend an amount almost equivalent to $3,000. This includes the $997 registration fee and 2 x $997 that you have to pass up to your sponsor. It is really hard work to gain profit in this type of compensation.

Unfortunately, the two-up compensation program has a few disadvantages. First of all, there may not be teamwork involved. After your first two sales, you do not join forces with your sponsor; in fact, you compete with them to be the better seller. You may find you don't get them to help you anymore, you have to make sales by yourself. Also you have to pay out $3,000 before you can start earning profits.

Problems also arise Passport to Wealth when you become a sponsor. You can decide to help or not to help your affiliates at all. If you decide to help, you will gain profits fast (because they are required to pass up their first two sales to you), but someday he might be a threat to you.

These things will not happen in companies that offer matching override commissions. In these companies, you do not need to pass up sales to your sponsor. You will also get some matching override commissions that are quite great and also get some fees from monthly member fees. The matching override commission program, in overall, is better than two-up compensation programs like Passport to Wealth.
