Writing Articles For Traffic Generation

By Raymond Krost

These days, when millions of online entrepreneurs are using article marketing as their primary marketing arm, you need to be very aggressive in improving the quality of your articles and marketing techniques so you will not be left behind by your competitors.

I remember the day when I started in article marketing. The inspiration came from a blog. The blogger claimed, with proofs, that she had gained hundreds of backlinks from search engines almost like overnight with just one article submission.

Use attractive titles. If you want to increase your open rate, you need to make sure that your article titles are interesting and attention-grabbing. They must have the ability to move online users to open and read your articles. Make it a habit to use powerful, compelling words that can evoke action or use terms that can touch human emotions.

Create an author's bio. Leading article submission sites like EzineArticles dot com allow you to create an author's bio where you can communicate some of your personal information so you can easily build rapport with your readers. Take advantage of this and post your hobbies, areas of interest, expertise, and the problems you solve. Don't forget to include you most recent, most friendly-looking photo so online users can easily associate your personal information with a face.

Often when I sat down to write an article, it took for 30 minutes just to keep up with one idea that I think would be good enough to write about. That's a big mistake. Later I found that many of my other ideas are great as well. You will never know until you test them out.

Produce more articles. As you might already know, article marketing is a game of numbers. If you want more inbound links and higher page ranking, you must be willing to give some more. Strive to augment the number of your articles by either hiring a ghostwriter or by spending more time writing.

Follow the rules set by the publishing sites. This is to minimize or totally eliminate the chances of your articles being rejected.

Be good at one or two marketing strategies. It will give you better results than a little of bit of everything and no focus.I learned a lot of other lessons during this journey but those are the three most important ones.
