First off, Lifepath Unlimited is practically a recreation of another opportunity called Liberty League International. They both promote self development products, somewhat similar compensation plans and are structured almost identically. The reason for this is most likely because the founder of Lifepath Unlimited, Joe Neid, was the CEO of Liberty League International. However, after problems with the better business bureau Liberty League fell off the map and lost a lot of its credibility. You'll still find people marketing it but Lifepath is somewhat of a newer version.
Lifepath Unlimited is a direct sales company that specializes in self development. They offer 3 products that range from $1,700 to $15,000. They are named: Discovery Series Home Study Course, Breakthrough Event, and The Destiny Event. To be qualified to sell any of these products a few things must happen. First, you need to sign up as a member for a $49 enrollment fee; and to sell any of the 3 products you must have either purchased it yourself, or have sold it at least 5 times, in which case you don't make profits until your 6th sale and on.
The prices are as follows : -Discovery Home Series Study Course: Retails for $1,695. Associate keeps $1,000 of the sale. -Break Through Event: Retails for $8,995. Associate keeps $5,000 of the sale -Destiny Event: Retails for $14,995. Associate keeps $9,000 of the sale.
Now these commissions can be made in more than one way. Along with direct profits from people who join through you, you can also make money off of those who are part of your "team". By "team", I mean people who you signed up. However, there are several variables involved in these types of commissions. Rather than get into it, you can just read their complete compensation plan by visiting http://www.aboutlifepath.com/compplan.pdf.
As you can, see these products get very pricey. They are all centered around personal development and removing self limiting beliefs. It all starts with the Discovery Series, which is an 8 cd and dvd set that is to be used alongside a 56 day online study course.
The Breakthrough Event is a 4 day event meant for two people. It's an extension of the Discovery Series and further elaborates on the principles taught in the program. It includes presentations from motivational speakers and such.
The Destiny Event is similar to Breakthrough with a different agenda and new line of speakers. It is also meant for two attendees.
If you want to be qualified to earn commissions on all of the products, you would have to buy each of them for yourself. That would allow you to avoid having to pass up any sales, but it would also cost you over $25,000. These products are by far more expensive than most other online businesses. Furthermore, they do little to benefit your business.
If you're looking at Lifepath Unlimited as a potential business venture that can make you money, the products have very little to do with your success. Your success is dependent on how well you can market the opportunity and find people who WANT self development products. It wouldn't make sense to join if the products aren't important to you. If you're intentions are to replace your current job with an online business, it would be more beneficial to find a business that will teach you to market online and how to turn the internet into a cash cow.
The kind of business that I'm talking about is one like the Wealth Funnel System. Its creator, Derrick Harper, has been making money online for 13 years and he has even worked with well known companies like MTV, CMT, Pfizer, Weber Grills, Johnson and Johnson, and more. Unlike Lifepath Unlimited, there are no pass ups or mandatory product purchases. Derrick Harper created the Wealth Funnel System to provide people with the proper training on how to run a business over the internet.
It may or may not be as good as Lifepath Unlimited, but that is up for you to decide. Either way, I hope this article helps answer any questions you may have had about the Lifepath Unlimited business.
Wishing you the best, Joe Marquez
